The Green Industry Platform warmly welcomes the Donor Committee for Enterprise Development (DCED) as a new partner in green industry knowledge. 

Founded in 1979, the DCED is a member-based organisation made up of donors and multilateral agencies working in the area of Private Sector Development. DCED members share the vision of making Private Sector Development more effective by:
  • Sharing experience between agencies and field programmes
  • Developing and disseminating knowledge and guidance on good practice in Private Sector Development; and 
  • Communicating evidence on results in Private Sector Development. 

The DCED has several working groups looking at specific aspects of Private Sector Development, including one dedicated to Green Growth. Besides sharing information between agencies, the working group also commissions joint research and works on joint guidance papers. The Green Industry Platform looks forward to the ongoing contributions of the DCED to the growing body of global green industry research and knowledge.
