Based on research conducted in Mexico, Indonesia, and Rwanda, this study assesses the job creation potential of renewable energy technologies under various power sector pathways based on National Energy Plans and countries’ NDCs.

The resource, National Alliances for Buildings and Construction: Long-term partnerships for the energy transition synthesises existing experiences of five national alliances in France, Germany, Mexico, Morocco and Tunisia, and proposes recommendations for the establishment of more national alliances to create the momentum needed to achieve low emission, resilient and efficient building.

This report maps existing initiatives of identified CCFLA members in Mexico with regards to local and regional governments. Focusing on early-stage project preparation, the report investigates how CCFLA should engage with governments to to offer coordinated and coherent support.

These may include low densities of educated entrepreneurs, high logistical costs, scarce infrastructure to differentiate products, and few capable business mentors. The book includes an introduction to the forest business incubation service delivery model, detailed case studies are presented of attempts to deliver business incubation services in forest landscapes, an analysis of the data presented by the case studies and some observations and conclusions about how best to develop forest business incubation in the service of both forests and people.
